Szczecin University held from 5th to 8th March this year organized by the Irish Week. Short description of the events below, along with a link to the event.

Tydzień Irlandzki - Irish Week – From 5 do 8 mark 2012 for the first time in Szczecin will be the Irish week. Irish Week This international celebration of Irish culture and language, during which the event will be held academic, cultural and musical.

The aim is organized by students and staff of the Department of English Philology in Szczecin Irish Week, is to present both traditional and contemporary Irish culture, and the relationship between the Polish and Ireland. The daily Irish language lessons, which will be held in Dublin Irish Pub, will learn to a few words (a few words) this fascinating, reaching 2500 second language. Student presentations and lectures of specialists, who come not only of Polish but also from Ireland and Germany, bring the audience into the world of Irish culture, Archaeology, Literature, history and music. Additional attractions while, will provide the evenings: filmowy oraz koncertowy.

Academic events will be held at the Faculty of Philology, University of Szczecin, building no 3, sale 001 i 100, evening shows and the arts in the University Cultural Centre.
